COVNA Check Valve (Non Return Valve)
COVNA Swing check valve, also call Non Return valve (NBR). A basic swing type valve consists of a valve body, a bonnet, and a disk that is connected to a hinge. Known as tilting disc check valve, allows full, unobstructed flow and automatically closes as pressure decreases. Usually installed in combination with gate valves because they provide relatively free flow combinations.
- Model: Check Valve
- Size Range: 1″ to 12″
- Pressure Range: 1.6 to 2.5MPa
- Material: WCB, Stainless Steel
COVNA Swing Type Check Valve (Non Return Valve)
Swing check valve uses a swinging disc to allow or block flow and are not designed for extremely tight spaces. The pressure of the fluid passing through a system opens the valve, while any reversal of flow will close the valve.
The swing check valves functions by allowing flow forces to move the closure element, it is a hinged clapper which wings or rotates around a supporting shaft.

The disk swings away from the valve-seat to allow flow in the forward direction, and returns to the valve-seat when upstream flow is stopped, to prevent backflow.
